Nuetral Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone!! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, I sure did! First off, I went to see the last Twilight movie and let me say it’s my favorite one! I can honestly say I was on the edge of my seat. For those of you who read the books, know exactly what I'm referring too. So, if you haven't seen it and you are a fan, I def recommend you going to see it ASAP :-).

Now, one of my favorite fall/winter pieces is sweater dresses and boots. That's probably the only thing I like about cold weather aside from the holidays of course. So for today's post I decided to go for neutral browns and I love it! More importantly I'm completely into Over the Knee socks, which is a perfect combination with boots. Enjoy and hope everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving :)

ColorFul Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone! Yes I agree, the weather was not cooperating earlier this morning, with the rain, but then again we get closer and closer to the weekend. Sorry for the delay in posts, but I’m back! So for today’s post I decided to do some fun color blocking. Before, I use to be scared of combining two bright colors (thinking they wouldn’t go together), especially pink and red… but to my surprise they look WONDERFUL together :-). Enjoy!

The Butterfly Effect ^-^

Happy Saturday everyone! Or should I say Happy Butterfly Effect. Reason for the butterfly effect, well that’s due to the amazing CapFABB Meetup: Neiman Marcus (they had butterflies, hence the title). I must say CapFABB did an amazing job with this meetup. I was able to meet some amazing ladies including CapFABB’s co founder A Lacey Perspective as well the lovely CommeCoco, Forever 81, The Coattail Effect, and webhautejas. Check out their blogs! Of course I cannot forget two amazing ladies, Neon Paws and La Petite Marmoset Vintage. If you have not checked out these ladies, I definitely recommend it, they are just FABULOUS.

Now, I am happy to finally share with you an outfit post( Finally!!). This is all thanks to Neon Paws, and her amazing pictures . Enjoy.

Fashion Tuesdays

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Sorry for the long over-due post, however I’m finally back. So for today’s post I have decided to focus on my favorite clothing line/ designer- Lauren Conrad (LC). I absolutely love her effortless style, her clothing line is suitable for everyone and it’s affordable. With summer almost to an end, I have decided to create simple, cute and stylish outfits for different occasions using LC’s clothing line.   Enjoy <3

Tasty Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone! I want to apologize in advance, that I have not been updating Stuck on Chic. The last couple of days, I had been on a search for the perfect camera; and I finally found one.  In the next few days, I will finally start posting stylish outfit (s) etc; I am looking forward to everyone’s feed back. So for today’s post, I decided to share with everyone one of my favorite recipes Chalupas. I think their very tasty and easy to make. This recipe is part of Eva Longoria’s recipe book Eva's Kitchen: Cooking with Love for Family and Friends”.

Chalupas
Ingredients:
½ cup vegetable oil, or as needed
8 corn tortillas
4 cups shredded lettuce
1½ cups grated queso fresco or cheddar cheese (about 6 oz)
¾ cup sour cream
1 large tomato, diced
2 avocados, pitted, peeled, and diced
2 cups refried beans, warmed
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken, warmed (or beef)

Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with paper towels. In a large skillet, heat oil until shimmery and hot. Fry tortillas one at a time until firm, 1 minute per side. Transfer to baking sheet; cool 5 minutes.

2. Place lettuce, cheese, sour cream, tomato, and avocado in separate serving bowls.

3. Spread beans on each tortilla. Sprinkle chicken on top. Arrange chalupas on a platter; serve with toppings on the side.
Side note: You can replace the shredded chicken with beef as shown in picture.
On another note, I must say I absolutely love Eva’s style. Eva’s style is so chic and classy,  not to mention she’s just gorgeous. What do you think of my top three outfits?

Hope everyone has an amazing Tuesday.

Take me away, a sweet escape

Happy Wednesday everyone! Or should I say Happy Hump Day. Today I woke up humming this song- Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield. I think this song resembles my mood and the month of July. July, the month where everyone or should I say plenty of people go on vacation. Vacation sounds lovely right now, being able to get away, relaxing at the beach and enjoying the sun; hence the words, Take me away, a sweet escape.  So for today’s post, I decided to create a wish list. I would love to purchase these items, maybe not at this second, but sometime this month.  Their wallet friendly and these beautiful pieces, shoes, accessories and handbags would be a great addition to any closet.
